Discomfort is not bad. It brings engagement and change. Discomfort means you are doing something that others were unlikely to do because they are hiding out in the comfort zone.
Discomfort is a bad thing. People usually eliminate discomfort from the equation to make our lives easier.
The inventions of new technology focus our attention on things that makes everything easier.
In our own home, most of the things that we see are a product of those technologies. May it be mechanical or electrical.
Those are the staple things that we need in order for us to live. But, humans were born with special skills. They can adjust to anything around them.
Early humans are hunters and gatherers. They live mostly in hunting animals around the forest or gathering fruits for the people in the village.
In return, nature rewards them of lean muscle strength and a healthy body. They live in harmony with nature.
Then, nature became their friend and they found a way to use it to there own advantage.
Next, the discovery of fire is a different thing. There is a lot of speculation on how the fire was discovered. Like which came first chicken or egg.
Furthermore, some say that fire was discovered after lightning struck a plant. Others thought that mankind discovered fire by creating friction using two rocks.
No one knows what really happened and we can only speculate. Fast forward today. Human development is at a slow pace.
Furthermore, the things that we invented in the past that is supposed to ease our lives is making our present miserable.
Discomfort is not bad
We invented plastic to store things. But, today it is mostly the source of pollution around the world.
Plastics are non-biodegradable. Although some of them are, it still takes a couple of years for it to decompose.
Not to mention, that around the world their millions of factories who are still manufacturing them every second.
If we compute those it’s still not enough compared to the efforts use to recycle the plastics.
For me, discomfort is not a bad thing. It only means that your body is not used to it.
Television is one of the top things that made a lot of couch potato today. As the TV’s become slimmer, the person who is watching it become fatter and bigger.
It is an ironic view since most of us accept that watching TV is already a regular thing that we do.
In addition, Sitting for a couple of hours in front of television decreases your ability to be active. Staying active means maintaining good health.
Technology is good when used in the right way. What we need to do is to focus on the things that matter.
You don’t need a diet pill to stay slim. All you need to do is to eat healthily and stay active.
The solution to our problem is not a magic pill or supplements. We need to assess ourselves.
The only person who knew you best is you. So, you know that reason why you are getting fat and sick.
Finally, after identifying the things that make you vulnerable, you need to change your ways and move forward
