Man drinks 20 liters of water just to stay alive.

How many liters of  water do you drink daily. Health lessons taught us that we need to at least drink 8 glasses of water everyday to maintain normal body function. 

What will you feel if you are advised to drink at least 20 liters of water everyday for the rest of you life?

A man from Great Britain suffered from this rare disease. His name is mark 35 years old male. 

His mother during his childhood years that he urinates a lot and is easily thirsty.

He undergone a lot of consolation and laboratory test to figure out what is wrong with him.

Mark was diagnose to have Diabetes Insipidus.

Symptoms of Diabetes Insipidus

  • Extreme urination from 6-30 L a day
  • Extreme thirst
  • Fatigue
  • Dehydration
  • Constipation
  • Muscle weakness

The person needs to drink a lot of water daily just to stay hydrated. Without water they are at risk for high fever and loss of consciousness. 

Although the name her  Diabetes is mostly know for high blood sugar it is a different case.  The problem with this condition is the body lacks doesn’t respond to the water retaining hormone.

The kidney doesn’t retain the ingested water. It converts to urine simultaneously. This person  may urinate ones or twice in an hour. 

Sleeping pattern is also disturbed since their body signals them every hour to get out of bed to urinate.  

As a result person with this condition needs to drink excessive amount of water just to live. People with this condition looks normal. 

People with special needs still go through with life. As difficult as it is they struggle and find ways to live a little bit longer and enjoy the simple things that life has to offer.

We should be grateful to what we have. Learn to appreciate what we have. Make everyday a gift that you cherish. Spend your time to the things that are worthwhile.

Health is really wealth.We need to treasure the body that was given to us. Enjoyment in moderation will sustain our bodies throughout life.
